Description
Bad English, a supergroup featuring John Waite and Neal Schon, garnered attention but had a short lifespan. This release features a full 69-minute stereo soundboard recording of their September 15th San Jose concert from their 1989 North American tour following the release of their debut album. This recording was directly digitized from an aircheck master from a local FM radio station, making it a rare live recording from their one-time US tour. The concert features nine of the thirteen tracks from their debut album, “BAD ENGLISH,” and includes guitar, keyboard, and drum solos, as well as “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” Incidentally, Jonathan Cain was also a member, so the solo parts sound exactly like Journey, and the stage performance here is full of the band’s sound, making it seem even more like Journey with John Waite than on the album.
