The full version of the superb audience shot footage from the 2025 European tour and Milan performance is here for the first time! Despite his advanced age, Clapton continued to perform energetically in 2025, performing in Japan, Europe, South America, Central America, and North America. A month after his performance in Japan, a stunning video of the European tour has now appeared! This is the first superb audience shot footage from the second day of the Milan performance on May 28th! We’ve already released “Milan 2025 1st Night: The Video,” which aggregated all the various fragmented footage uploaded online, so to speak, and connected them in chronological order. This work surpasses that, shot with a 4K camera, and is truly “superb” quality. The angle is a clear shot from the stands about 45 degrees to the left of the stage, with no obstructions in front of you the whole time, giving you the satisfaction of watching a full concert from this seat. The stage is captured at a truly excellent angle, always centered on Clapton, occasionally pulling back to give a full view of the stage, while at maximum zoom, Clapton can be seen from the waist up. His guitar is also perfectly visible from this angle! Clapton’s look that day was as dandy as ever, in a gray suit and white shirt. The audio was also fully recorded with excellent stereo audience recording, providing a clear understanding of the stage progression. From his stage appearance to the band’s post-show bow and stage exit, everything is captured in its entirety. This is a superb quality, similar to a complete audience shot of the final day of the Japan tour. For those who were impressed by the Japan performance in April, this work will definitely help you see how Clapton performed one month later. This day captured Clapton in top form, giving us a full look at the fifth performance of the tour! Since this tour started in the UK, Clapton was in top form overall, without any jet lag or fatigue from the long journey. A look at the setlist reveals that it was almost identical to the Japanese performance. Clapton was apparently extremely satisfied with his Japan tour, and likely decided that this setlist, based on his Japan tour, was the best way to express his current style. The concert kicked off with a hard-hitting, energetic number from his Cream days, “White Room,” a song that was also powerful in the UK. With a fitting intro, Sonny Emory’s drumming was brilliant, and the female chorus created a powerful impact, this number was an undeniably powerful opening. The final solo, featuring a thrilling wah-wah pedal, unfolds with Clapton’s signature vocal flair. Long tones are also heard. The following blues is a dignified performance that has become a concert staple. And as a “closer” before the acoustic set, he chose “Sunshine of Your Love,” a huge hit from his Cream days, just like in his Japan tour. The opening riff is preceded by a similar prologue-like intro. This section alone has a great groove that makes you wish it could continue. Clapton’s solo introduction in the middle section also begins with a phrase from “Blue Moon,” as usual. The band then transitioned to an acoustic set, beginning with a mellow Robert Johnson “Kind Hearted Woman Blues.” This acoustic set also featured “Golden Ring” and “Can’t Find My Way Home,” as seen on their Japan tour. The set closed with the classic “Tears in Heaven,” a must-have for fans following “Unplugged.” The second half of the set, which again featured a standing electric set, unleashed a barrage of classic Clapton numbers. At this point, Clapton removed his jacket and played a Stratocaster painted in the colors of the Palestinian flag, likely expressing his own yearning for peace. The final stretch, from “Old Love” to “Cocaine,” brought the set to a climax. Clapton’s playing was particularly energetic, but the band as a whole was also impressive. Each solo was filled with passion. The long intro solo in “Old Love” is a highlight, and the middle solo is also a passionate performance. The audience was particularly excited. Noteworthy is Clapton’s “fingerpicking” at the beginning of the middle solo. Please take the time to appreciate this nuance. The performance that wowed and moved audiences every day during his Japan tour was also present here. The jam-like section in the middle is rich in improvisation, reminiscent of the 1998 “Pilgrim Tour,” and Tim Carmon’s passionate synth solo is also superb. The audience erupted in applause after the solo. Meanwhile, Clapton’s solo in “Cocaine” was also superb! He used a wah pedal midway through for a smooth transition. The song’s ending, rather than ending with a sing-along from the audience as in the Japanese tour, was a fitting ending, featuring Emory’s drum fill. After the performance, an English flag was thrown from the front row. Nathan East unfolds it. Before the encore, he even raised a Palestine-colored Stratocaster, drawing enthusiastic applause. The encore, like the Japan tour, was “Before You Accuse Me.” There was no opening act on this tour, so no guest performers joined in. While he doesn’t include a snippet of “Hideaway” in the middle, he connects the two with a tasteful solo. Near the end, he includes a phrase from “Sweet Home Chicago,” bringing the performance to a stunning close. Less than a month after his Japan performance, Clapton embarked on an energetic European tour. This is superb footage from the second day in Milan.
