Brad Mehldau’s latest live recording. A soundboard recording of the jazz festival in Moers, Germany, which was distributed in 2021. Mehldau gained attention from rock and pop fans at a live show in Paris in September of the previous year, with a set list that consisted mostly of Beatles covers, but this time he performed mainly Beatles covers, as well as covers of Neil Young and Coltrane. And the setlist includes the classic song “Smoke ga Mei Shiru”, which everyone has probably heard. The opening song is the famous song “Karma Police” from Radiohead’s masterpiece “OK Computer”. Originally, this was a master with some digital noise in the treble, but it has been reduced to a level that is as non-irritating as possible, resulting in a sound quality that even beginners can enjoy.
