Description
The highly acclaimed live album “OUT THERE IN BOSTON” is said to be “representative of OUT THERE”. This masterpiece is a new reissue. This work includes the “July 9, 2013 Boston performance”. “OUT THERE” lasted for about two and a half years and 91 performances from May 2013 to October 2015, but this Boston performance was the 18th concert in the early stages. Initially, this work gained popularity as a “report on the just-beginning “OUT THERE”” and “best recording of July 2013”, but looking back with today’s eyes, it has a completely different meaning. The wonderful sound is top class even when looking at the entire long “OUT THERE”. It is a masterpiece among masterpieces that is worthy of being the masterpiece of “OUT THERE”, which has produced countless famous recordings. In fact, this recording became a big topic from the time it was released. In fact, it boasted the best sound of all the sound sources that had been on the market up to that point. The on sound image is a given, and for example, the edgy texture of the guitar in “Day Tripper” is transmitted too realistically. Not only is the sound close, but it was an outstanding recording that captured the tone that the band spun realistically. Moreover, Paul’s stage performance on this day, recorded with such sound quality, is truly wonderful! Paul’s spirited shout can be heard even in “Maybe I’m Amazed,” which always seems to be difficult to sing, and he also gives a wonderful singing voice in “Nineteen Hundred And Eighty-Five,” which was played before that. Paul was in top condition that day. Still, it’s live. In “Hi, Hi, Hi,” which was played as an encore, there are rare parts where the band’s performance becomes suspicious, and in the midst of Paul’s live stage, where solid performance is the norm, you can enjoy a fun happening. It is such a perfect recording, but if I had to point out a problem, it would be that the sound of the wind hits the microphone every few songs. I think you can understand that if you listen to the beginning of “Let It Be.” However, the essential performance and singing voice are captured louder and more powerfully than such sounds. Even if it bothers you at first, you will forget about it as you listen. Of course, the mastering is also perfect. The mid-low range, which was (slightly) too noticeable in the original recording, has been suppressed and fine-tuned to give a sense of greater spaciousness. The original superb sound quality has been sublimated and sealed to the “ultimate” and “nothing more” dimension. It is such an outstanding high-quality album that you might mistake it for a “monitor mix” at first listen. What was “the best of this period” at the time will later become “that was amazing”. This is a great masterpiece live album that is a sample of such underground evaluation. It is the revival of a great masterpiece that we would like you to reconsider now.
