From the 2nd LEG of the North American tour accompanying “ROCKS” in 1976, Detroit recorded all the songs on the first day of the two-day performance at Cobo Hall on December 1st with a high-quality audience recording for 75 minutes. Recorded uncut except for the beginning of the Big Ten Inch Record. As an audience recording at that time, the sound quality, sound stability, and freshness are all impeccable, and it is a magnificent piece that is given an “A” rank in all respects. That’s because the provider of this take is a tape from a close friend of Aerosmith who provided the “ROCKS SESSION” and the soundboard “ALIVE OUT THERE TONIGHT” of the Santa Monica performance in 1978, which also made its complete debut, so there is no doubt about the quality. The cheers are less likely because the band recorded it with an ambient microphone for recording. That said, it was a microphone recording at the time, and it has deteriorated over time, so it’s not that good. However, the more you listen to it, the more you’ll think, “Wow!” (every detail of the performance is recorded well). At the beginning of Rats In The Cellar, Joe plays the guitar for Dream On, but stops halfway through, which may simply be a mistake in the order of the songs (in the end, it seems they didn’t play it that day). In the second half of Train Kept A Rollin’, Batman and Peter Gunn Theme are included and played.
