Description
Our “WAR Tour Soundboard” series is archived with the highest peak update master. A new release has been decided to further enhance the collection. This work records the “May 30, 1983 Devore performance”. Yes, it is a stereo soundboard recording from the appearance at the historic major event “US Festival”. Currently, our shop is supervised by overseas U2 researchers, and we are unearthing and introducing the highest peak master of the “WAR” era soundboard. This work is one of them. First of all, let’s organize the collections that have been released so far by schedule. 1982 (September-October WAR production) ・December 1-24: Europe #1 (20 performances) ←※HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982 1983 (February 28 WAR release) ・February 26-April 3: Europe #2 (29 performances) ←※TIFFANY’S 1983 ・April 23-June 29: North America (48 performances) ←★here★ ・July 2-August 21: Europe #3 (5 performances) ←※LORELEY FESTIVAL 1983 ・November 16-30: Hawaii/Japan (7 performances) This is U2 in the WAR era. In addition to the CDs “HAMMERSMITH PALAIS 1982” and “TIFFANY’S 1983”, “LORELEY FESTIVAL 1983” has also been well received. The “US Festival” in this work is a part of the US tour that is different from them, but this is a mass production area of sound boards. There are many masterpieces that cannot be written above. Here, let’s focus on the “North American” leg and take a closer look. April 23-May 5 (10 performances) May 6 “BOSTON 1983 2ND NIGHT” May 7-27 (16 performances) May 30: US Festival ←★ Here ★ June 1 + 3 (2 performances) June 5 “DENVER 1983” June 6-29 (17 performances) This is the total of 48 performances of the “North American” leg. Two masterpieces, “BOSTON 1983 2ND NIGHT” and “DENVER 1983”, are permanently preserved, and this work is in between. This show was broadcast on radio / TV, and even a leaked master appeared. It is a big staple among the classics that have produced various existing groups. This work is the best master selected by overseas researchers with a focus on “sound quality” and is a sound board for cable TV broadcasting. The best sound ever is the full view of the historical stage. Let’s organize the contents here. Boy: A Day Without Me / An Cat Dubh / Into the Heart / The Cry-The Electric Co. / I Will Follow Irish October: Gloria / I Threw A Brick Through A Window WAR (fight): New Year’s Day / Surrender / Two Hearts Beat As One / Sunday Bloody Sunday / “40” … and so on. Although it is a short set of about an hour for the festival appearance, this is all the songs played on the day. There was an incomplete version among the broadcasts, but this is a complete live album recorded with a full show. And the performance itself is thicker than the condensed set. After all, the 1983 “US Festival” was a monster festival that mobilized 670,000 people over three days. Many people have seen the scene of a sea of people as far as the eye can see on TV broadcast pro shots, but the momentum of seeing that huge crowd reaches the sky. Bono’s shout, which says he will take us beyond the horizon, is an explosive tension that cannot be compared to other performances. This is a soundboard album that allows you to enjoy a historic stage with the highest peak master by a researcher. Although it is not an upgrade that can be touted as “almost another dimension,” it is still the best ever. The content is truly a decisive board. A soundboard album from when they appeared at a historic festival has been released. Although it is a cable TV audio soundboard, the best master carefully selected by overseas researchers is of the highest quality ever. You can enjoy the historic great performance by the young U2 in the “WAR” era. Glen Helen Regional Park, Devore, CA, USA 30th May 1983 STEREO SBD(UPGRADE) (59:36) 01. Gloria 02.
