Description
From the second leg of the 1989 “Lovetown World Tour”, the legendary four-day consecutive performance in Dublin at the end of the year, the first day of the December 26th live performance is recorded in master quality and soundboard sound source on 2CD. First of all, this world tour was held on a global scale including Japan, and as a highlight of the end of the year, the band performed four days at The Point Depot, a club with a capacity of 5,000 people in Dublin, on December 26th, 27th, 30th, and New Year’s Eve on the 31st. All of the performances were aired on local FM, and the New Year’s Live on the 31st was a standard recording that was also released half-officially. This title is the first day of the tour, and the opening is a super rare opening with “GOD PART II” which starts with the SE of “Sympathy For The Devil”, and it is a record of the Rotterdam performance after that. The intro to “Where The Streets Have No Name” features a poem by the English Romantic poet William Wordsworth, “Resolution and Independent,” dedicated to the Irish poet Samuel Beckett, who died four days before the show on December 22. B.B. King also appears on “When Love Comes To Town” and “Love Rescue Me,” and these are the hardest tracks to find from the four-day album, making them a must-have for fans.
