Description

Although their existence has been confirmed until now, precious live recordings from before their debut, which had been treasured only by a few collectors, have finally been released on the internet and finally seen the light of day. This is an almost complete recording of the late show in Dumfries, Scotland on November 16, 1969, from the original master tape, and is of amazing quality for an audience tape recorded on cassette at the time. In terms of timing, Mythology, which included Tony Iommi and Bill Ward, disbanded in July of the previous year, and then welcomed Ozzy and others to form the band in August 1969, which had been active under the name Earth. changed their name to Black Sabbath and released their debut single “EVIL WOMAN” in December. Therefore, since they started working on the album immediately, they had not even recorded their first album yet, and this is the very first ultra-rare live sound source.Although it was recorded from the middle of the first song “BLACK SABBATH”, it was later recorded on the first album. “WARNING” and “N.I.B” have already been performed, and the appearance of this sound source can be said to be shocking, and here is a new historical live sound source. 1. BLACK SABBATH (cut in, incomplete)/2. LET ME LOVE YOU BABY/3. A SONG FOR JIM (incl. DRUMS SOLO)/4. WARNING/5. WICKED WORLD/6. BEHIND THE WALL OF SLEEP/7 . EARLY ONE MORNING/8. N.I.B./9. BLUE BLOOD MAN [Live at Rugman’s Youth Club, Dumfries, Scotland 16th November, 1969 Late Show] Tony Iommi (guitar) / Geezer Butler (bass) / Ozzy Osbourne (vocals) / Bill Wards (drums)
