Description
We present to you the soundboard album from the 1978 memorial concert “CALIFORNIA JAM 2″ performance. “CALIFORNIA JAM” is famous for 1974, when DEEP PURPLE, EL&P, and BLACK SABBATH performed, but this second edition was held four years later, on “March 18, 1978,” and AEROSMITH Performed as a headliner. It was a historic event, attracting 350,000 people, more than the first time. This scene is also shown on the DVD “Draw the Line,” and the spectacle of a swarm of ant-like humans is extraordinary. This work is a live album that contains almost the entire stage for about 77 minutes (only “Toys In The Attic” is not included). The sound of this work that conveys such a historical live performance is a vivid soundboard recording. Although the sound image is a little rough to be called official grade, it strongly suggests the 70’s era sense and suits AEROSMITH strangely, which was spreading a dangerous atmosphere. This live is also about 4 months after the release of the famous album “DRAW THE LINE”, and the passionate performance continues like “a full stage version of “LIVE! BOOTLEG”. Moreover, that “LIVE! There are many songs that cannot be heard on “BOOTLEG”. To enumerate, “Seasons Of Wither” and “Same Old Song And Dance” from “GET YOUR WINGS,” “Big Ten Inch Record,” “No More No More,” and “ROCKS” from “TOYS IN THE ATTIC.” “Rats In The Cellar,” “Lick And A Promise,” and “Get The Lead Out.” From their latest album at the time, “DRAW THE LINE,” 10 of the 16 songs were not duplicated, including “I Wanna Know Why,” “Get It Up,” and “Milk Cow Blues.” Most of these songs are not included in the main press DVD “VIDEO SCRAPBOOK”, so you can enjoy even more of AEROSMITH’s famous songs from the 70s. Moreover, they are performing such delicious songs at the historic big event “CALIFORNIA JAM 2”. In front of a huge audience of 350,000 people, AEROSMITH in its heyday performed wild and mysterious rock and roll, making it the best rock show in history. A live album full of delicious songs and more vivid than the official video revived with the world’s highest quality.
