This is a remastered recording of the sound source broadcast from the Amsterdam performance in July of Beck & Clark’s world tour, which became a big topic in 1979. The bass playing on School Days etc. is also quite strong, and the overall performance is wonderful. The tension of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Jelly”, which begins with Stanley Clarke’s odd count, turns into a fiercely high masterpiece. If Jeff is doing well, the mood of the show will suddenly improve.
