Description
This is a compilation of the sound and video of the live performance at Hammersmith Odeon, London on March 19th, from the 1988 UK tour of the solo project that he launched after leaving KISS. First of all, the sound source is a complete recording of the day’s performance over 80 minutes from the original audience master, known for its famous taper. This time, the live performance is reproduced exactly as it was on his comeback album “FREHLEY’S COMET” with the highest quality at the time, and the main point is that you can listen to 7 out of the 10 songs on the album. Then, “Rip It Out” and “New York Groove” from his solo album released in 1978, as well as “Separate” from “SECOND SIGHTING”, which was unreleased at the time, are inserted, and the most noteworthy is the KISS number, where he performs three songs composed by Ace: “Cold Gin”, “Shock Me”, and “Rocket Ride”. Be sure to check out “Cold Gin” with Ace’s vocals throughout the entire album. In addition, the DVD includes a 34-minute pro-shot video of the live performance. As fans know, this is a precious video that was officially released on VHS at the time, “LIVE…+4,” but was discontinued soon after its release and has not seen the light of day since then. And since it has been digitized from the master VHS, there is no dubbing deterioration and it is literally of official level quality. Although the PVs that were officially recorded have been cut and there are only 6 songs in total, the footage that lets you experience the 80’s, such as the front three’s hairdos and the smoking guitar solos, is also a must-see for fans.
