Description

Michel Petrucciani, a French pianist who overcame disabilities due to a congenital disease and is considered France’s best jazz pianist, performed at the “Glascaux International Jazz Festival” held in Scotland on July 7, 1991. A complete recording of the live performance on the official quality soundboard from the master source for FM broadcasting. First of all, in November of the same year, the same members played “September 2nd”, “Piango, Pay The Man”, “Miles Beyond”, “Hayrula”, and “Round Midnight”, while the live performance in France was officially released. It includes many numbers that can only be heard at this live show, and here too, the band has attracted many fans with its unique, beautiful sound and dynamic, romantic performance. Furthermore, even though he was told from a young age that his lifespan was limited to around 20 years, he actually lived a much longer lifespan than that. In January 1999, he died at the age of 36 from acute pneumonia while on tour in New York, so this is a must-listen item for jazz piano fans, containing his precious performances from his later years in perfect quality. 01.
