Description
When you think of Nuremberg in 1973, most people think of the ancient “NUREMBERG 1973.” Excluding the reissue, it ended up being Le’s last original work, and due to its poor title and poor sound, it was completely lost in the popular ’73 European tour. It ended up being a forgettable performance. Actually, the sound wasn’t that bad, but in the rush of releasing ZEP items at the time, the new sound source was less appreciated, and I was looking at other high-quality performances and upgrades of famous standard performances. Perhaps it was unavoidable for him to turn towards it. This is such a pitiful performance, but in recent years, a version with significantly upgraded sound quality has been distributed among traders, and it has reached a level where it can be said that it is a waste not to listen to it. Compared to TDOLZ, which had an unnatural pseudo-stereo-like sound due to repeated dubbing and phase shifts, the mono sound of this record is much better, and it is extremely clear and realistic without phase shifts. If I were to compare it to nearby performances, I would say that it is not as good as the Vienna performance on the 16th, but it can be said to be as high and good sound quality as the Berlin performance on the 19th. This edition mainly uses a non-net sound source (2nd Gen), and the middle part of Heaven, which can be filled in with missing parts, is further supplemented with a submaster digitized directly from a cassette tape (generation unknown) of the same sound source. It is a title that has achieved the highest record ever. The missing part is filled in only in the middle of Heaven, CD time 1:56-6:11, but this section is always unrecorded in all sound sources currently in circulation, and all of them are from the beginning of Heaven’s performance. If there is a cut just before the 2 minute mark, it will immediately warp to the guitar solo part. The same is true for non-net sound sources, and this time the missing portion of just over 4 minutes is supplemented with a submaster digitized from the cassette tape. In addition, there are some gaps in this 4-minute supplementary part, and there are also gaps at the end of the supplementary part, and there are two gaps in Song Remain, so it is not a complete recording, but it is probably It seems that this has recorded the maximum amount of this performance, which currently only has one sound source. In addition, this time, Heaven by the submaster used to supplement Heaven is again included as a bonus at the end of Disc 1. Due to the recording time, it is irregularly recorded at the end of Disc 1 instead of Disc 2, but since it is an extremely rare and extremely difficult to obtain sound source, it is specially recorded as a bonus, so if you want to watch it in the actual order of performance, it will be recorded at the end of Disc 1. You will be asked to skip it. In terms of performance, there are some parts where the performance seems to be distorted, such as in heaven, probably because the Mellotron was not in good condition, but other than that, it seems to be in excellent condition as it is a well-established tour, and the momentary Leila that jumps out before Song Remain. There are plenty of things to listen to, including Ramble On in front of Heaven. The ’73 Nuremberg performance will be revived as a standard item on the European tour! It’s not the internet. It’s the same source but supplements heaven with different sub-sources! Live at Messe-Zentrum Halle A, Nuremberg, West Germany 14th March 1973 Disc 1 (66:20) 01. Introduction 02. Rock And Roll 03.
