Description

The newly excavated soundboard incident of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour” that has shocked collectors all over the world. Following last week, two more superb soundboard albums will be released at the same time! This is the first of two simultaneous releases. It is a super powerful soundboard recording of the “January 14, 1983 Toronto Performance”. Together with the three consecutive shots from last week, a total of five soundboard albums have appeared. First of all, the position of the show. Let’s take a bird’s-eye view of the schedule at that time along with the three works. 1982 {October 13th “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT” released} ・December 29-31: North America #1a (3 shows) ←※SIOUX CITY/ROCKFORD 1982 1983 ・January 1st-February 4th: North America #1b (23 shows) ←★here★ ・February 11th-March 1st: North America #2 (12 shows) ・March 9th-April 3rd: North America #3 (15 shows) ←※EL PASO 1983 ・June 18th-25th: South America (3 shows) {July “LICK IT UP” production begins} This is the whole picture of the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”. The “PINE BLUFF & HOUSTON 1983 SOUNDBOARD” released at the same time is a bit special, so it is omitted and the other four works are listed. This is the third album following the sister albums “SIOUX CITY 1982 SOUNDBOARD” and “ROCKFORD 1982 SOUNDBOARD” from the very beginning of the tour. It is a soundboard album recorded at the 9th performance of “North America #1b”. This work has a super powerful sound that is not inferior to last week’s three consecutive shots. In the same way, it is a direct connection system of the mix desk, and the cheers of the large audience are recorded as if whispering far away, while the live performance of the four people approaches with a powerful core. It feels like all the performance sounds are ringing in your brain, and even the slightly rough switching, such as a little vocal effect and Vinnie Vincent’s guitar that suddenly gets loud in the solo, is super realistic. If you have experienced even one of the three titles from last week, you can think of it as “that continuation”, and if you have not experienced it, you can imagine “the highest level of leaked system”. Of course, this work is not the original sound on the net as it is, but is treated with meticulous mastering. While maintaining the impact of the sudden sound, pitch correction and balance adjustment have also been implemented. It is the best version that pursues the perfection of the musical work. The super-powerful sound depicts a full show that is different from last week’s three consecutive works. Although it is close to “SIOUX CITY 1982” and “ROCKFORD 1982” in terms of time, “EL PASO 1983” is the closest in terms of show content, so let’s organize it by comparing them. CREATURES OF THE NIGHT (4 songs) Creatures of the Night / I Love It Loud / War Machine / I Still Love You 70’s Classics (11 songs) KISS: Cold Gin / Firehouse / Strutter / Black Diamond DESTROYER: Detroit Rock City / God Of Thunder / Shout It Out Loud (★) Others: Rock And Roll All Nite / Calling Dr. Love / I Want You / Love Gun *Note: ★ marks are songs that cannot be heard on “EL PASO 1983 SOUNDBOARD (Zodiac 531)”. … and so on. The beginning of “War Machine” is missing, so it is not a complete recording in the strict sense, but you can experience almost the entire show. The selection is similar to “SIOUX CITY 1982” and “ROCKFORD 1982”, but the order of the songs has been significantly changed. The opening “Creatures Of The Night” is followed by “Detroit Rock City”, creating a “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”-like structure. The flow is similar to “EL PASO 1983”, but the big difference is the presence of “Shout It Out Loud”. The set was dropped in the middle of “North America # 2”, which is also a characteristic of the middle part of the tour. It’s a bit of a detailed story, but the sound quality is shocking no matter what. This is all there is to it. If you were blown away by the three titles last week, you’ll be surprised that “That’s still out there!?” But it did come out. I never thought that the “CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour”, which was a hidden gem of sound sources in 2022, would suddenly turn into a soundboard fertile area… This is the middle part of the tour that was a shocking discovery. A super powerful soundboard recording of the “January 14, 1983 Toronto performance”. This is the fourth installment of the CREATURES OF THE NIGHT Tour sound board, which continues to be newly excavated, and this time too, the close contact recorded directly from the mix desk is tremendous. This is a transcendent new masterpiece in which the mid-stage show, which also includes “Shout It Out Loud”, which was dropped during the tour, is poured directly into your brain.
