Description
A vintage video series of Fresno from the 1970s that has been very popular. The KISS edition is now available. This work was filmed at “Fresno performance on November 27, 1979.” This is a shocking audience shot that records one act of “DYNASTY TOUR”. Until now, valuable videos of various bands such as AEROSMITH, VAN HALEN, AC/DC, UFO, HEART, etc. have been released one after another, but this work is the best masterpiece of such a series. Before the shocking quality, let’s first check the show’s position from the schedule at the time. [“DYNASTY” released on May 23rd] ・June 15th – August 20th: North America #1 (32 performances) ・September 1st – November 10th: North America #2 (34 performances) ・November 19th Sunday – December 16th: North America #3 (13 performances) ←★Here★ [Superb quality Fresno video series] This is KISS’s 1979. After completing projects such as “ALIVE II,” solo series, and “DOUBLE PLATINUM,” they released their first original album in two years, “DYNASTY.” Even though the sound of collapse was creeping up on us, we pushed forward with the tour while placing 9th in the United States. All of them were only in the United States/Canada, and the Fresno performance of this work was the fourth concert of “North America #3” in the final stage. Now, this work shot at such a show is truly an astonishing vintage video. As those who have experienced the previous works will understand, this series is a video work that combines audience shots shot on 8mm film and synchronizes the finest audio. Such edited works have become popular in recent years, but the quality of this series is by far the best. Normally, in 8mm photography in the 1970s, one cut was short, ranging from a dozen seconds to just under a minute. However, the videos used in this work are quite long, and many of them are full shots of more than one song. Of course, it’s not a full show, but you can enjoy each song properly, overturning the stereotype that “vintage 8mm is valuable, but it is difficult to entertain.” Also, the picture quality and sound quality are simply amazing. In the first place, the film is more beautiful than the early VHS, but the storage condition of the film in this series is also excellent, with no fading or deterioration at all. The scene is exactly as it was back then. More than that is the sound. It is still unclear whether it is the same as the photographer or different, but there is no doubt that the Fresno performance has an incredible recording artist. For example, BLACK SABBATH has Fresno recordings from 1976 and 1978, both of which are transcendent recordings that are No. 1 among all audience recordings in the 70s. It is a super sound that is “like a sound board” even by modern standards, not by 70’s standards. Sorry for making a prediction again, but the voices used in this series are probably a collection of that person. [Make-up KISS edition, the best in the series] It’s similar to previous series explanations, but this one is probably No. 1 among them. Although the overall length is not as long as the AC/DC version, which is approximately one hour, it is 47 minutes, which ranks second. What’s more shocking is the sound. As is probably the case, this show also has a super best recording, but this work is much fresher than its previous releases, and is the No. 1 super sound in the Fresno series so far. It is truly a masterpiece that stands out even in the shocking series. And I would like to call the contents of the show a masterpiece. Just the sight of Gene and Ace wearing cloaks is impressive, but in “Firehouse”, fire is seen, the guitar splits the air during Ace’s solo, and Gene strums the bass while spitting blood. The kit looms large and you can clearly see the rotating drum solo. You may be thinking, “This is not the usual production,” but this is depicted with 8mm texture and a lot of on-site feel…It’s hard to put into words how impressive it is. It is a completely inexperienced vintage video. Moreover, the more I think about it, the more miraculous it becomes. Again, this is a medium that can only be filmed piecemeal, so it is important to know in advance what kind of performance will be performed and when. What’s more, despite the level of difficulty being completely different from that seen after VHS, this work captures not only Ace’s appearance, but also the scene where he explodes in front of him. The fact that it has been preserved is a miracle in itself, but how could such footage be achieved with equipment from the 1970s? This is an absolutely shocking image. The Fresno video series is full of shocking works, but this work is the best masterpiece. I would like to say that. The visual beauty is equal to or better than before, and the sound is breathtaking. An on-site experience of a super entertainment show drawn with that quality… How shocking was KISS in the 70s? This is a miracle of vintage video that shows this in a scene that is worth more than a hundred words. Live at Selland Arena, Fresno, CA, USA 27th November 1979 AMAZING SHOT!!! 1. Intro 2.
