Description
This is the world’s first recording of the soul-stirring live performance of the European Quartet led by Keith, recorded in April 1974 for promotional purposes at the studio of the German television station NDR, from an amazing high-quality stereo master. This will be the debut edition. Titles containing monaural sound sources have been distributed both overseas and domestically in the past, but this is the only CD that uses stereo sound sources as the original source, and has become a famous title among enthusiasts. However, the live performance of the day was not recorded in the order of performance, and the left channel was recorded slightly lower. This CD uses a newly discovered stereo sound source, the sound image balance has been improved, and it is recorded with a wonderful crystal quality that cannot be found in any existing sound source. There is no need to explain the wonders of this European quartet. Supported by the sharp and sharp performances of Jan Garbarek, Palle Danielsson, and Jon Christensen, who have supported the backbone of the ECM label, Keith’s aesthetic is here. A spectacular reproduction of the stage is unfolding.
