Beatles /Acetate Rare Collection

Now that Purple Chick and the “BACK TO BASICS” series have converged, Master Jedi is a maniac who is actively organizing Beatles and rare sound sources on their behalf. When he puts together the existing sound sources, he does not do any tricks other than pitch correction, and yet he is praised by maniacs for his careful selection of the best sound sources for each one. The “LAST LACQUERS” to be released this time is one of the items he released last year. As the title “The Last Lacquer Board” suggests, this is a compilation of Beatles acetate sound sources. A comprehensive collection of acetates containing their studio recording mixes (RM stands for remix mono, RS stands for remix stereo) and home demos has been released in recent years, but Master Jedi’s selection of the best sources, going all the way back to analog bootlegs, will impress maniacs. For example, the RS3 mix of “Across The Universe” on the second disc is taken from the nostalgic LP “DIG IT”, and because it is recorded with accurate pitch, it is easier to listen to than the original LP. This also applies to the acetate version of George’s “Not Guilty” taken from the LP title “Nothing Is Real”. The original LP was very out of pitch and difficult to listen to. On the other hand, the acetate audio that has appeared on online auctions in recent years is also well compiled, and it is not lacking in the fact that it covers the fragments of Paul singing on piano from the demo “It’s For You” for Cilla Black, which finally appeared last year. Although the audio sources were recorded as they exist, there are some that are not interesting to listen to because the differences in the mix are difficult to understand, such as the various acetate sources of “HELP!” that start with the synchronization count from the movie, but overall it is a wonderful collection of rare acetate sources that can be enjoyed by beginners and enthusiasts alike as a three-disc set. Although there are some items on the Internet that only include the first two of the three volumes, this is of course a complete set that includes all three volumes. Disc 1(55:56) 1.
