Description
The so-called “The May Pan Tapes”, which contains rehearsals and demos for John Lennon’s 1975 oldies cover album “Rock and Roll”, is now available as a stereo remastered version! The “The May Pan Tapes”, which was once familiar as an analog bootleg, was recorded from a studio monitor during the “Lost Weekend” recording session in Los Angeles. At the time, it was a mono source, but it has been remastered to stereo. This is the latest 2022 collection that collectors will be interested in, which has released some of the original session tapes that Phil Spector is said to have run off with, including “Stand by Me” and “Slippin’ and Slidin'”, which later became single hits, as well as songs not included in the album and jam sessions!
