Description

Here are rare live recordings of the King of Boogie, who was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi and literally dedicated his life to the blues. Recorded on a soundboard from a show at New York club Bell Star Lounge on April 4, 1979, from the radio broadcast sound source, even in the late 1970s when the blues boom was ending, this one and only song His style was obvious, and he gave a full-throttle blues performance that had a great influence on many musicians, including the Stones. Moreover, even though he was already in his early 60s by this time, he showed no signs of slowing down at all, and compared to his solo live performances when he was younger, where his unique one-and-only style was noticeable, this was a live show with a band, and it was a more somber set. It’s also a delight for old fans. 1. My Baby Gone And Left/2. How Long Can You Go/3. I Gambled All Of Your Love/4. Rainin’/5. One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer/6. Serves Me Right To Suffer/7 . Rock Steady/8. Life Ain’t The Same/9. The Boogie [Live at Bellestar Lounge, Colden, New York, USA April 4th 1979 : soundboard recording]
