Jim Hall participated as a guest on the album “Dialogue” released in 1995, and the two of them got along well. In September of that year, they appeared together at the Village Vanguard in New York and performed together. This is an audience recording with the best sound quality of A-class. The first song starts with Monk’s famous song, Bemsha Swing, and Jim Hall and Bill Frisell perform brilliant solo parts in that order.
