Description
Approximately 73 minutes of the Worcester Centrum performance on November 8th, just before the New York MSG performance, from the North American tour accompanying the 1989 “Guitar Shop”, which was a double headliner with Stevie Ray Vaughan. Completely recorded with the highest level of high quality audience recording. Uses master sound sources that have appeared in recent years. Corrected pitch about 1/4 semitone higher than original. By equalizing the sound to create a moderately sharp sound, even higher sound quality is achieved. The sound image is stable, and the piercing high range is also ultra-clear. As a cassette recording at the time, it completely records the entire show with the highest level of sound. The sounds are surprisingly close, and the sound is full of sound, so if this type of recording is sometimes too loud, it may lack a sense of separation, resulting in a flat sound image with no undulations. However, this record has been recorded in the best condition, including the overall balance. The cheers get louder between songs, so you can tell that the surrounding audience is listening quietly during the performance. The momentum of the live performance of the trio during this period was Beck, who played with full force in all directions, Terry Bozzio’s drums approaching on a tremendous scale, and Tony who reproduced the wall of sound widely on the keyboard. You can fully enjoy a lively performance full of energy. A superb sound quality disc from the 1989 North American tour that can be enjoyed with sound quality comparable to the December 2nd Sacramento performance recording “Sling Shot” from the same tour. You can also listen to the collaboration with Ray Vaughn in the last Goin’ Down. The sound is good, but the content of the performance and Beck’s quality are worth mentioning.
