Description

The historic heyday of the “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR”. This precious soundboard and pro shot set is here. When you say “1981 soundboard/pro shot”, you think of the first performance in Japan and the Melbourne performance, but that’s the “BACK IN BLACK TOUR”. This work is the next “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR”. It is a three-disc set with the soundboard recording of the “December 17, 1981 Rochester performance” on disc 1-2 and the pro shot of the “December 21, 1981 Landbar performance” on disc 3. First of all, let’s imagine the position from the whole picture of the world tour.・November-December 1981: North America #1 (31 performances) ←★Here★・January-February 1982: North America #2 (28 performances) – about 3 months later-・June 1982: Japan (5 performances) – about 3 months later-・September-October 1982: UK (19 performances)・November-December 1982: Europe (15 performances) This is the whole picture of “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR”. The Rochester performance of this work is the 29th performance, and the Landover performance is the 31st performance. These are the two performances that decorate the end of the opening “North America #1”. Now, let’s introduce each live. [Disc 1-2: Soundboard of the Rochester performance] The main focus of this work is the soundboard album of the Rochester performance produced by a core maniac overseas. In the first place, this Rochester performance has long been known to core traders and has been secretly made into an LP bootleg. However, both the trade tape and the LP bootleg are of a dimension that only core collectors know, and there are many cut versions. It is a valuable “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR” soundboard, but it is frustrating… In this work, a maniac who was fed up with such a situation gathered up the existing masters and analyzed them all in detail. It is a work that has been finished in the best and longest form. The base is the longest tape that only core traders had in the early 1990s. However, even though it is the longest, “You Shook Me All Night Long” and “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)” are missing, and they are compensated for by another master of the next highest quality. It has been carefully mastered and finished so naturally that you won’t notice it is connected unless you are told. Thus, the Rochester performance, which was infused with the passion of core enthusiasts, was revived as a live album where AC/DC at the peak of their powers rages right next to your ears. Although the sound is not “official grade” because it is a valuable sound source, the super clear separation and detailed details that only a sound board can achieve are amazing. And above all, the direct feeling that AC/DC jumps directly into your brain… Moreover, the content of the show is intense. The historic breakthrough of “BACK IN BLACK” is fully accepted, and the momentum that slammed into the further masterpiece “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK” is at full throttle. It is unfortunate that there are no rare songs such as “Put the Finger on You” and “Let’s Get It Up” that are unique to that time, but the concentrated and reduced “THE BEST OF AC/DC” is amazing. In fact, it is not strange to say that it is a set of recent tours. In other words, at this point, the major representative songs and super-decided songs are completely complete, and it is drawn with the band potential that created the super masterpieces. [Disc 3: Pro shot of the Landbar performance] This is a soundboard album of the wonderful Rochester performance, but unfortunately it was not a full show even though it was the longest in the past. It is especially painful that the most delicious new songs “Put The Finger On You” and “Let’s Get It Up” are not included in the “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR”. In order to clear up such regret, this work also comes with a bonus multi-camera pro shot of the Landbar performance. This is also a pro shot familiar to enthusiasts, but it was remastered by an overseas enthusiast, and it is the highest quality version with vivid coloring. However, it still does not reach the point of being called “official class”, but it is still great to be able to enjoy the precious “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR” with a multi-camera that highlights the highlights. Perhaps because it was a December performance, Santa Claus hugged a huge bell in “Hells Bells” and the performance began. Brian Johnson smashes it with a hammer, Malcolm Young plays a crisp riff, and Angus Young goes wild… they’re all young! The image of AC/DC can be summed up in two words: “unchanging,” but their youthful performance and singing voice are different… You can enjoy the momentum of their heyday throughout the whole film, but the most notable songs are “Put The Finger On You” and “Let’s Get It Up.” Both were only performed on the “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR” and have never been played since. Although they are super-famous songs from the No. 1 album in the US, they are extremely rare. You can enjoy Angus running around with such songs through the “scenery” of multi-camera professional shots and soundboard audio… It’s a scene where his precious words are just filmed. Despite being the heyday of the century, there are almost no professional records of the “FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK TOUR.” This is a masterpiece in which the precious line recording and pro shots were made into the longest and best version by core maniacs. This is the moment when the greatest rock band in history, AC/DC, was at its strongest. A soundboard and pro shot filled with the best and most amazing things.
