Description
The latest live album is here for the final leg of the highly acclaimed “THE BOOK OF SOULS WORLD TOUR”. This week, the first report of the final leg, “PHILADELPHIA 2017 (Shades 746)”, will be released, but this work contains the “next” show. This is the audience album for the “June 7, 2017 Newark performance”. For now, let’s post the tour overview here as well. [First half: 2016 part] ・February 24-April 16: North America #1/South America (27 performances) ・April 20-May 14: Asia/Oceania (11 performances) ・May 18+21: South Africa (2 performances) ・May 27-August 4: Europe #1 (32 performances) [Second half: 2017 part] ・April 22-May 28: Europe #2 (19 performances in the UK) ・June 3-July 22: North America #3 (26 performances) ←★Here★ The Philadelphia performance was the second performance of “North America #3”, but this Newark performance is the third performance. This work is a true sister work of “PHILADELPHIA 2017”. There is a show position, but more than that, if the recording artist is the same, the equipment is the same. It is the second installment of a series in every sense. In fact, the sound of this work is very similar to “PHILADELPHIA 2017”. The sound using the high-end microphone “SP-CMC-8” is thick and thick. The “Prudential Center (commonly known as THE ROCK)” where the work was performed is an indoor stadium that can accommodate about 20,000 people, but its scale is incredibly clear. The sound is even elegant. Although it is a sister work so far, it is still a different performance. If I had to point out a difference, it would be the vocals. “PHILADELPHIA 2017” was also wonderful with Bruce Dickinson’s singing voice penetrating, but this work feels even closer. This does not mean that “PHILADELPHIA 2017” is inferior. Rather, “PHILADELPHIA 2017” has a beautiful balance of the entire ensemble, but this work is a vivid recording of the vocals even if it breaks through that beauty. Perhaps because of that sound, the contents of the show sound a little different from “PHILADELPHIA 2017”. Of course, it is very similar to the show that was close by, but this work is slightly wilder. In particular, the vocals that jump in with a vivid sound are rough. This is not a bad condition but a feeling of “growing up”. There were two days off after the Philadelphia performance, and perhaps they were too sharp there. The performance and singing are so passionate that they are overflowing with momentum (even so, even in the final leg, they are not tired of the tour, but rather increase their power. Bruce is really superhuman). It is a masterpiece sound that you can feel the nuance at the breathing level. The sister work “PHILADELPHIA 2017” and this work, which report the final “North America # 3”. I actually thought about introducing only one of them, but I couldn’t decide. I’d like to say, “Listen to both,” but if you “must only listen to one,” I’d like you to choose the cover you like best (laughs). This is a double album with such a high-level show and sound. You should definitely listen to both! Live at Prudential Center, Newark, NJ. USA 7th June 2017 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1 (56:38) 1. Intro Film 2. If Eternity Should Fail 3. Speed of Light 4. Wrathchild 5.
