This work contains the “Chicago performance on December 18, 1987”. This show was a “hole” concert where no recording or video had ever been found until now. After all, as it is a legendary tour, all kinds of records have been dug up over the past 30 years. It was thought that “as expected, it’s already…”, but a new discovery has been made. The Chicago performance of this work was the 42nd performance of “North America #2”, the “late 1987” concert. In fact, GUNS N’ ROSES had an accident around this time. Steven Adler broke his arm in a fight at a bar. Fred Khoury of CINDERELLA was brought in as a substitute. Fred served as a substitute for nine performances from December 17, 1987 to January 5, 1988, and this was the second concert of the nine performances. This work, which contains such a show, is a master that has just been released by the prestigious “Krw_co”, and it is an incredibly superb audience that has been kept secret until now…or rather, it is a dimension that even the customer record is unbelievable. After all, it is ferociously clear and extremely direct. There is almost no echo in the venue, and all the instruments are close to line recording. That is why the guitar is the sound of rubbing the strings, and the vocals are super clear at the breath level. Moreover, there is almost no audience noise. The recording ends in the middle of the final song “Paradise City” (around 3 and a half minutes). Therefore, in this work, these flaws are eliminated by mastering. First, the pitch was completely corrected, and the sound balance, which was slightly leaning towards the mid-range, was also adjusted (this was not fatal, but in addition? I aimed for the best version). The last recording omission was supplemented the next day with the “December 19 Madison performance”. Thus, the wonderfulness of the “Chicago performance” that was first released as the best version… Since the drummer is Fred Khoury, it’s not the magic of “those five people”, but on the other hand, it’s a valuable record. Moreover, even though it’s the second pinch performance, the sense of stability is amazing. On top of that, the energy of the “APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION TOUR” that changed the world explodes… this can’t be bad. Although it’s a short show only for Alice Cooper’s opening act, it’s a new discovery of a historic tour and a valuable pinch performance.
