Guns N’ Roses/Australia 2017 2Days Complete

Guns, who came to Japan in 2017 and received rave reviews for all five of their shows, performed in Sydney, Australia on February 10th and 11th as part of the Australian leg of their “Not In This Lifetime Tour” immediately after their Japan tour. Both shows were recorded in Sydney, Australia, on two consecutive days on February 10th and 11th, and both have been digitally remastered to digital audience masters. The excellent sound source recorded digitally from the front row has been further remastered to produce a clear, balanced and well-positioned sound, and unlike Japan, the open feeling and sound clarity unique to an outdoor stadium are refreshing. Moreover, while the basic set is almost the same as the Japanese performances, it is worth noting that, since it is Australia, Angus Young appeared as a guest on both days, and Angry Anderson of Rose Tattoo appeared as a guest on the 11th. In particular, this is the first time they have performed with Angus since the AC/DC tour, so be sure to check out the two songs they performed, “Whole Lotta Rosie” and “Riff Raff.” Furthermore, “Nice Boys” with Angry Anderson is a number by Rose Tattoo, Guns’ favorite band, which Guns themselves covered in the early days of the band, and it is a rare number that can be heard live. The bonus track also includes a recording of Slash appearing on the stage of the opening act Wolfmother on the 11th, performing “By The Sword,” a number by Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators that they also performed together on the recording. In addition, a DVD containing the best footage of the Sydney performances, all with good audience shots, is included. The footage captured by the audience camera at various good angles is compiled for a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes according to the basic set, and including the guest performances of Angus and Angry, this is a fulfilling item packed with highlights from the two days.
