Description

Miles Davis, who never looked back, performed one of only two reenactment concerts in 1991, just before his death, as a replacement for Gil Evans after his death? A reenactment of the Gil era with Quincy Jones. The true nature of this concert, which is said to have ended in failure, is finally revealed in its entirety! This is the ultimate Miles tribute favorite! ! ! Before his death, Gil, even though he was in poor health, created new arrangements for Miles’ past songs and recorded the scores for his collaboration with Miles. Gil had already passed away, and Miles had finally passed away, so Chris Hunter, the Monday Night Orchestra that Gil was proud of in his later years, took Gil’s son Miles Evans, who took his name from Miles, as leader/trumpet. The Gil Evans Orchestra is made up of elite members such as Gil Goldstein, Mark Egan, and Kenwood Dinardo, and Robben, who was active in the Miles Band and has played in Gil’s Monday Night Orchestra, will be a guest. Ford and Rick Margitza and Steve Thornton, who were also in the Miles band, also participated, and “Emotions for Miles” was held in Maastricht, Netherlands on October 25, 1991, about a month after Miles’ death. This is a collection of Miles’ beloved songs revived by Gil’s new arrangement that Miles really wanted to perform at the end, a true Miles tribute concert, the highest quality with the label’s own careful mastering. A 2-disc set with a complete recording of an hour and a half with high-quality sound has arrived! Live at Maastricht,NL October.25.1991 EX-AUD 2016 Original Remaster 89min Disc 1 1. intro 2.
