Description
In 1987, the first day of the Budokan performance on March 13th, the first day of the four consecutive days of the Japan tour accompanying the release of the smash hit album “Invisible Touch”, was recorded in perfect ultra-high quality audience recording. A must-listen for fans, using the master cassette directly. According to the recorder, it was recorded in the front row of H block (right in front of the PA on the right), and not only is it wide and direct, but it is also recorded with a more natural and easy-to-listen-to sound quality than the previous release on the same day. The complex and large-scale Vari-Lite system caused a big stir during the ’87 Japan tour. Along with the powerful band ensemble, you can enjoy the vivid sound image of Phil Collins’ vocals, who was at the peak of his popularity at the time, exciting the audience with a good performance. Genesis’ set, which was unique to this period, reflecting the MTV era and becoming a major entertainment band, is still stimulating even now. From “Mama,” which starts with a mysterious mood, to the “Turn It On Again Medley,” which is filled with oldies and rock classics, it is recorded with surprisingly stable recording. (Even the venue announcement after the show is recorded clearly.) The definitive title of the ’87 Japan tour, which also includes “Tonight, Tonight, Tonight,” which was dropped from the set after the third day. -Recorded Live at Nippon Budokan,Tokyo,Japan 13th March 1987- (Disc 1): 01.Mama / 02.Abacab / 03.MC / 04.Domino Part I & II / 05.MC / 06.That’s All / 07.The Brazilian / 08.MC / 09.In The Cage / 10.In That Quiet Earth / 11.Afterglow / 13.Land Of Confusion (Disc 2): 01.Tonight, Tonight, Tonight / 02.Throwing It All Away / 03.MC / 04.Home By The Sea / 05.Second Home By The Sea / 06.Invisible Touch / 07.Drum Duet / 08.Los Endos / 09.Turn It On Again (incl.
