From the Japanese performances held as part of the “ANOTHER TICKET” tour, the Budokan performance on December 7th was recorded using a first-time master cassette that is a completely different source from the previously released sound source on the same day, and of course has never been circulated among traders. (Blues Power 1:07-1:39 has been compensated for by the previously released “Another Budokan Ticket”) Anyway, on this day, Clapton was in poor health (he was hospitalized for an internal organ disease in the first half of the year and returned in September), and Layla was not set in, which was unusual, perhaps because of the high key.
