Description

While taking the world by storm with the eternal masterpiece “HIGHWAY TO HELL”, they are now ready! Bon Scott passed away at the same time. Introducing a superb video that allows you to experience his final stages for an hour. This work was filmed at “Fresno performance on September 8, 1979.” This is the audience shot. As many of you may have already noticed, last year, a large amount of Fresno footage from the 1970s of various bands appeared. It’s shocking enthusiasts all over the world. At our store, EL&P, AEROSMITH, and VAN HALEN (’78 edition) were recently released and received great acclaim, and this week we also have VAN HALEN (’79 edition), UFO, BLUE OYSTER CULT, HEART, and DEF LEPPARD. This work is the AC/DC edition of such a series. The biggest point of this work is that it is the longest in the series and has a spectacular view, but first of all, it is the show’s position. Speaking of “HIGHWAY TO HELL TOUR,” there is also the official movie “LET THERE BE ROCK,” so let’s take a look at the schedule from that time. 1979 / May 8th – July 21st: North America #1a (45 performances)《“HIGHWAY TO HELL” released on July 27th》 / July 28th – August 5th: North America #1b (8 performances)・August 17th – September 1st: Europe #1 (8 performances) ・September 5th – October 21st: North America #2 (37 performances) ←★Here★・October 26th – December 21st : Europe #2 (45 performances) ← * Official video January 16th-27th, 1980: Europe #3 (10 performances) [February 19th: Bon Scott passed away] This is Bon Scott’s performance since the completion of “HIGHWAY TO HELL” Steps until death. Their new album shot up the US charts, and they made an instant breakthrough and went on an intense tour. It may seem normal when summarized as above, but in 1979 alone, they conquered the world with a dense schedule of 143 performances in 228 days, that is, 2 performances every 3 days. The official video “LET THERE BE ROCK” was a record of the final album “Europe #2” in 1979, but this work is the North American version of it. This was the fourth concert of “North America #2″. This work, which records such a show, is one of the biggest in the shocking series. It was shot on film like the other works, but what is surprising is its length. Other works had the feel of “long cuts on 8mm film,” but this work is outside the standard. Each cut is extremely long, and it continues without interruption, let alone a full video of a whole song. Of course, there are some scenes with still images, and there are some songs like “Problem Child” that are not completely recorded, but it is still at the level of “not without”. You can watch it with the same feeling as a modern audience shot. Furthermore, not only one cut is long, but the total length is long. Most of this series is about 30 minutes long, but this one is about an hour long. Strictly speaking, it is not a full video, but the experience is no different from a full video. Of course, it’s not just the length. The key points of the series, “image beauty that surpasses that of video” and “superlative sound,” are still alive and well. What’s more impressive is the spectacular view. Of course, the images of other bands were spectacular views with no obstructions, but this work is on a different level. The photo was taken from the second floor seats facing the center of the stage, giving unlimited views of every corner of the stage. However, it is not a distant view, and the close-up zoom is bold enough to close up the facial expressions of Bon and Angus. From a position where you can see as much as you like, we will select the “most delicious sights” and approach you. It was hard to believe that a camera from the 1970s was capable of zooming like this, and that it was possible to perform such precise camera work at a time when the know-how for photographing audiences was not yet established. I can’t say for sure, but it must have been professionally shot by the band or venue staff…it’s such an amazing quality that I can only assume so. And it’s delicious because the camera work focuses on Bon. Angus was the main character in “LET THERE BE ROCK” (of course), but in this work, Bon is actually the main character. At the time, Bon was probably filmed mainly because he was a singer, without even dreaming that he would suddenly die, but this fact raises the value of this film two or three levels higher. Shocking anyway. Not only is it of the highest quality, but it is also long enough that you can almost enjoy the entire view of the show. The Fresno series itself is shocking, but this is an oversized dynamite video. This is nothing but a cultural heritage of rock, and is the masterpiece of a series that has excited the whole world.
