Description
A new release of the 1981 BLACKPOOL performance sound source that was released on a Japanese collector’s CD in the mid-90s!!/The playback sound level is the same, even down to the low level, but the sound separation seems to be better…・Including the intriguing jacket, this is a must-have for anyone who owns the aforementioned CD! The opening song, “Sweet Danger,” is an Iron Maiden-like fast-paced song, and its mysteriousness is probably what makes it different. The following song, “Angel Of Death”, has a dark atmosphere and is heavily loaded with heavy Sabbath-like riffs. “Sorcerers” is a dark, heavy, slow tempo song, but the furious guitar in the second half when it changes to a hard tune is amazing. “Gorgon” has a shuff beat similar to Uriah Heep. “Angel Witch” is a fast-paced song with sharp riffs and momentum typical of NWOBHM. The last song, “Devil’s Tower,” is an instrumental song that seems to condense Angel Witch’s charm, and is the face of the band that you can’t get out of your head once you hear it. Dark, mysterious, and melodic. It’s a very fitting ending. 1 Sweet Danger 2 They Wouldn’t Dare 3 Angel Of Death 4 The Sorcerer 5 Confused 6 Evil Games 7 Gorgon 8 White Witch 9 Baphomet 10 Guitar Solo 11 Angel Witch 12 Devil’s Tower 13 Paranoid (Black Sabbath Cover) Bass – Kevin Riddles Drums – Dave Dufort Lead Vocals, Guitar – Kevin Heybourne
