Description

A collector’s CD version of the cassette live album released by the then fan club in 1981. A must-listen item for NWOBHM enthusiasts that includes a soundboard recording of the live performance at Norbeck Castle UK, Blackpool on January 29, 1981! The drummer is Denise Dufort (GIRLSCHOOL)’s older brother Dave Dufort! Including the intriguing jacket, this is a must-have for anyone who owns the aforementioned CD! It was originally a live album released on cassette for fan clubs in 1981, and it seems to have been made into a CD. The opening song “Sweet Danger” is an Iron Maiden-like speeding song, and what makes it different is that it has a mysterious feel to it. The following song, “Angel Of Death”, has a dark atmosphere and is heavily loaded with heavy Sabbath-like riffs. “Sorcerers” is a dark, heavy, slow tempo song, but the raging guitar in the second half when it changes to a hard tune is amazing. “Gorgon” has a shuff beat similar to Uriah Heep’s. “Angel Witch” is a fast-paced song with sharp riffs and momentum typical of NWOBHM. The last song, “Devil’s Tower,” is an instrumental song that seems to condense Angel Witch’s charm, and is the face of the band that you can’t get out of your head once you hear it. Dark, mysterious, and melodic. It’s a very fitting ending. 1 Sweet Danger 2 They Wouldn’t Dare 3 Angel Of Death 4 The Sorcerer 5 Confused 6 Evil Games 7 Gorgon 8 White Witch 9 Baphomet 10 Guitar Solo 11 Angel Witch 12 Paranoid (Black Sabbath Cover) Bass – Kevin Riddles Drums – Dave Dufort Lead Vocals, Guitar – Kevin Heybourne
