Description

From the long-awaited Japan tour of “THE LONG GOODBYE TOUR”, which marks the 50th anniversary of its formation in 2018 and is said to be the final stage, we will be performing live at Osaka Festival Hall for two consecutive days on October 17th & 18th. Completely recorded for 1 hour and 43 minutes using digital audience recording. First of all, the two performances here in Osaka, which also included additional performances, are held at the Festival Hall, a venue that boasts the highest quality acoustics in Japan, and are reproduced with an amazing sound that is even more realistic than the soundboard, and the recording position is the same as the first day. Since it’s Mo’s Side, the guitar is all over the place. Also, on the second day, the bass is powerful because of Roger Side, and the point is that you can enjoy listening to the delicate balance even with the same set content. And on their previous US tour, they had a short set as they were the double headliner with Judas, but of course their visit to Japan was a full live performance, and as soon as they started with the intro of “Highway Star”, the venue was already heating up. After that, there were new songs from “INFINITE” and recent numbers such as “Uncommon Man” from “NOW WHAT?!”, but other than that, the best songs were mostly 70’s numbers and songs from “PERFECT STRANGERS”. The live set and performance will be enough to satisfy long-time Japanese fans, and since it may be the last performance in Japan, it will be held at the Osaka Festival Hall, which is very emotional for fans, so it will be a must-see limited edition commemorative item. .
