Description

Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, and Howe’s amazingly rare and super high quality footage is here! On July 26, three days before the start of the 1989 North American tour, a run-through rehearsal was held in Lititz, Pennsylvania, on July 26th. This precious footage was recorded for about two hours, with the relevant personnel setting up a tripod to record it. The image quality is so beautiful that it can only be thought of as a master direct, and it is recorded with amazing quality. The footage is from the right side of the stage set, but the clear footage with a good zoom is worth watching from start to finish. Since the rehearsal was held during the hot summer, all the members were playing in casual clothes in T-shirts, but since the performance was just around the corner, the performance was very serious, and each member showed a spirited performance. Steve Howe’s sleeveless T-shirt and shorts are eye-catching. The stage set is also set up like an actual live performance, recreating the flow of the second half of the show from Close To The Edge, which is played in the middle of the stage, to Roundabout and Sweet Dreams (the last encore). The close-up scenes of Howe, Bill, Rick, Levin (whose solo parts are amazing) and others are spectacular, and there are many famous scenes that are sure to captivate any prog fan. The keyboard melody played by John in the intro to Themes has a dangerous feel, which makes it interesting to watch. The new songs Brother Of Mine and Order Of The Universe are large-scale symphonic rock full of positive mood. The close-up of Levin in the first half of Heart Of The Sunrise is also very impressive. Howe, illuminated by a red spot while playing his guitar while watching the rhythm section, looks very cool. I think the revival of this lineup and the classic numbers they played for the first time in a long time were very moving for the members themselves, but the big songs like Close To The Edge, Heart Of The Sunrise, and Starship Trooper seem to have a different level of enthusiasm for both the performers and the audience, and you can watch the courageous performance in an inspiring mood from beginning to end (after it was over, the people involved also applauded). In Let’s Pretend, Howe’s fun playing the acoustic guitar is eye-catching. After Starship Trooper, you can see John, Howe, and Bill having a meeting. The tape cuts off here and Roundabout starts with a cut-in. Compared to the ironclad performance of Roundabout, Sweet Dreams, which is a very rough performance, is a very fun take. In Sweet Dreams, Bill is shown taking percussion out in front of the drum set and playing, and the unique sound is impactful and interesting to listen to. After Bill finished, he was applauded, and after showing some embarrassing actions, he took it to Howe, who was watching with interest, and there he hit it again. After that, John, Howe, and Rick rehearsed their solo parts. Leaves Of Green includes John’s vocals. In the middle of Mood For A Day, you can see a scene where Bill, who is sound checking the percussion while playing the guitar, stares at him as if to say, “It’s noisy.” Howe’s acoustic solo is a masterpiece, and because of this rough situation, you can feel the incredible persuasiveness of the sound. The last is Rick’s solo, and everyone will be captivated by his sharp and amazing finger work. It is a rare and wonderful content for a Yes-related video title in recent years, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a must-see for all fans, and it is a great item. A must-see and must-have title is here. Rehearsals at Tait Towers, Lititz, PA. USA 26th July 1989 AMAZING-SHOT!!! 1. Close To The Edge 2. Themes 3. Bruford / Levin Solo 4. Brother Of Mine 5.
