A rare sound source recording the Brixton performance, which was the last stage before Captain’s departure in 1984, is now available as an upgraded edition with improved sound quality from newly discovered sources! This is a stereo audience recording of the live performance at the Save the GLC Festival held in Brixton, London on August 4, 1984, which was the last performance during Captain’s tenure when he left to concentrate on solo activities. The label’s previously released album “CAPTAIN’S LAST STAND” is now available as an upgraded edition with improved sound quality from a newly discovered source! The source used for the previously released version had a rough sound image and there were parts where audience noise entered, but the newly excavated source used for this work is a very stable stereo recording with little noise, and the sound image is rough. Like the original version, the vocals are louder and clearer, but the sound quality has been upgraded to be even clearer and better. Also, pitch deviations caused by the master have been carefully corrected. “Stranger On The Town” from the fifth album “Strawberries”, “Disco Man” and “Limit Club” from the EP “FRIDAY 13th” released in 1981, and then singles “Thanks For The Night” and “Nasty”.
